93NOTARY LLC – REFUND POLICY
At 93Notary LLC, we are committed to providing professional, prompt, and accurate notarization and signing services. Please read our refund policy carefully prior to booking or remitting payment for services.
1. Services Rendered & Refunds
No Refunds After Services Are Rendered: All payments and fees collected are final once a notary public has reviewed identification, witnessed signatures, administered oaths, or performed any requested notarial act. No refunds, partial or full, will be issued after the completion of services under any circumstances.
Refunds Before Services Rendered: Refunds will be issued strictly for official notarial act fees in the event that a notarization is not performed. However, travel fees (for mobile notary appointments) and Remote Online Notarization (RON) platform/technology fees are non-refundable.
Example: Suppose you schedule a mobile notary appointment with a $10 notarial fee and a $40 travel fee (Total: $50). If the notary arrives at your location but the signing cannot be completed because a signer lacks valid ID, you will receive a refund for the $10 notarial fee. The $40 travel fee is non-refundable as it covers the notary’s travel time and transit costs.
Scope of Service: Fees are charged for the notary public’s professional time, travel, administrative setup, and execution of notarial duties. Payment is strictly due regardless of document acceptance by third parties, recording outcomes, or subsequent legal disputes regarding the contents of the notarized document.
2. Statutory Texas Notarial Act Fees
State-Mandated Fee Limits: Notarial act fees are set by the State of Texas pursuant to Tex. Gov't Code § 406.024.
Non-Negotiable Policy: Statutory notary fees are strictly set by Texas state law. These fees are fixed and cannot be negotiated, discounted, or waived.
3. Payment Terms & Pre-Payment
Payment Due Date: Full payment for all rendered services—including statutory notary fees, travel fees, Remote Online Notarization (RON) platform charges, and administrative expenses—is due in full at the time of the scheduled appointment.
Pre-Payment Accepted: Clients may elect or be requested to prepay for appointments, mobile travel, or digital RON sessions prior to the start of the appointment.
Mobile Travel Fee Notice
A travel fee may be charged for all mobile notary appointments in addition to the statutory notary act fees set by the State of Texas. Travel fees are calculated based on mileage, travel time, and appointment location, and must be agreed upon prior to dispatch. Travel fees cover the notary's time, mileage, and travel expenses, and are payable regardless of whether the notarization is successfully completed.
Remote Online Notary Technology & Platform Fee Notice
A technology and platform fee applies to all Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions in addition to the statutory notary act fees set by the State of Texas. This fee covers digital identity verification (KBA), credential analysis, secure audiovisual recording, and digital document processing on the state-approved RON platform. This $25.00 fee is non-refundable at the start of the online session or once identity verification has been initiated.
